The Hybrid Lamborghini Asterion LPI 910-4 Is the Future

The “I” represents the Italian word for hybrid. The “LP” stands for…well, who cares.

What you really need to know: 610 Hp from the 5.2 L V10, plus another 300 Hp courtesy of its electric components. That’s 910 Hp total for those of you too slack-jawed to do basic math. Don’t you love it when manufacturers battle over a new segment? (See case Ferrari v. Porsche v. McLaren)

As for its appearance: you know when you look at a face and can’t decide whether it’s weirdly beautiful or beautifully weird? Well that’s what’s happening here. Wait. It’s coming. Wait. Ok, we’ve decided; it’s dead sexy.

The interior is surprisingly comfortable looking for such a powerful GT, too, an interesting direction with the competitors track-focussed design.

Rumour is it’s production ready, so hopefully we’ll be seeing more of it soon.
