Bang & Olufsen’s new mood-reading music player

At CES this year, Bang & Olufsen announced their newest project: The BeoSound Moment. The spectacular-looking music player has a wooden touch-screen interface (the first, so they say), that connects not only to your music library, but also music streaming services, and over 700 internet radio stations. A quick flip of the device offers a more recognizable touch-screen interface which can be used for more complicated music-finding tasks, including a remarkable mood wheel. The mood wheel offers music to suit your mood, as represented by a colourful wheel. Bright yellows bring bright music, blue is more mellow, you get the picture. The farther away from the colourwheel’s centre you go, the more obscure the music. Sounds like a great way to find your next favourite tune.
