Lison de Caunes designs a master humidor collection for Davidoff Cigars
Davidoff Cigars has teamed up with renowned French artist Lison de Caunes, an expert in straw marquetry, to create the special edition humidor collection “Cave de Paille.” The three-part collection signifies three distinct stages in the lifespan of the cigar, the first of which (currently on show at Art Basel in Hong Kong), represents the growing tobacco leaf at the moment of harvest. The 50- to 65 -cigar capacity humidor, and its two counterparts will each be available after their respective launches; the second in the collection to launch in June, at Art Basel in Basel, and the third at December’s Art Basel Miami Beach. Only 10 of each humidor will be available.
