The Taghta: Glenmorangie’s ‘Crowd Sourced’ Whisky

What better way to make a well-loved whisky than to ask the biggest whisky fans you know for their input. Glenmorangie’s “The Taghta,” is named after the Scottish Gaelic word for “chosen,” and is a pointed nod to the fact that each of the whisky’s characteristics were selected by the brand’s Cask Masters, (Glenmorangie’s most loyal fans). The whisky lovers selected the new nectar’s flavour (notes of citrus, dried fruits, a sweet, creamy toffee), the cask in which it was aged (Manzanilla sherry), as well as the bottle’s shape, label and name. This very limited-edition whisky can be found at LCBO stores across Canada, but call first… we’re not kidding when we say it’s limited.
