Home of the Week: Casa Brutale, Greece

Peer through the looking glass and glance the incredible future of luxury homes with this, the innovative vision from OPA.

Constructed from wood, glass and concrete, Casa Brutale penetrates deep into the landscape, thermally insulated and protected by the earth that encases it. The only optical impact at ground level is the most particular roof: a glazed bottom swimming pool that invites tons of natural light. Descend the steps into an entrance that opens up to a breathtaking view of the Aegean Sea, framed by an enormous glass facade. The living space within is minimalistic and bare, but as a play of shadows take centre stage, the rooms awaken.

It’s the future, and it’s looking modern, all right.
