How do you make a Porsche 911 even more incredible? Asking that question seems a little greedy, doesn’t it? Like having a perfect, juicy, medium-rare slab of filet mignon placed in front of you, and then demanding it be more delicious.
And yet, somehow, the German automaker’s technical virtuosos managed to pull off the feat. The Carrera 4 and Targa 4 are the latest 911s to be revealed from Porsche’s 2017 slate, and both models are absolute doozies: loaded with an electro-hydraulically controlled all-wheel-drive system and boasting a twin-turbocharged flat-six engine that pumps out 370 hp, they’ll rocket to 100 km/h in just 4.1 seconds.
These beauties arrive in Canada next spring—and when they do, we’re confident we won’t hear a single selfish complaint from anyone who drives one.
