Sharp List: Tudor Pelagos Divers’ Watch

Last week, at the 2015 Grand Prix d’Horlogerie de Genève—the watchmaking world’s equivalent of the OscarsSwiss technical specialists Tudor took home the “Sports Watch” prize for the Pelagos, its superlative divers’ watch model.

It’s easy to see why the judges were so awed: pairing traditional good looks with high performance mechanics, the timepiece is housed in an ultralight titanium case with a self-winding movement that provides a 70-hour power reserve and a helium escape valve that allows it to function at depths of up to 500 metres. Whether you actually wear it at the bottom of the ocean or simply use it to sharpen up your everyday looks is entirely up to you.
