For a little while there, it seemed like we were home free. It was the middle of December but felt more like late April. Winter, it appeared, had skipped over us. He’d taken a gap year and decided to really focus on himself for a little while.

Alas, we all spoke too soon. Class is in session, kids. As of press time, it’s a blustery -13C in Toronto, the kind of cold that rattles your bones and makes you question why you still live in this hemisphere.

The oversized overcoat epitomizes the modern, larger silhouette better than any other garment. Come for the relaxed fit and stay once you realize how relaxed you are in it.
