Harrison Ford and Steven Spielberg Are Making a Fifth Indiana Jones Movie

Looks like Harrison Ford isn’t done reviving his most iconic characters. After bringing Han Solo back for one last galaxy-hopping joyride in last December’s Star Wars: The Force Awakens, the 73-year-old actor/legend/curmudgeon is turning his attentions back to the one and only Dr. Henry Walton “Indiana” Jones, Jr.

Earlier today, Disney officially announced that both Ford and series director Steven Spielberg are on board for a fifth Indiana Jones movie, scheduled to hit theatres on July 19th, 2019.

After the disastrous fourth outing, 2008’s Indiana Jones and the Kingdom of the Crystal Skull  in which Shia LaBeouf played Jones’s illegitimate son Mutt, who was horribly set up as a potential new lead for the franchise — we’re hoping they seize this opportunity to right the ship and give Indy the guns-blazing, thrill-a-minute send-off he so richly deserves.

One word of advice, fellas: if you really feel the need to give Indy a sidekick this time out, leave Shia at home and bring back Short Round. He was the dopest.
