So this is pretty cool. Sportsnet has posted Jerry Howarth’s scorecard for Game 5 of the ALDS — you know, the one with the bat flip – and boy, is it ever a beauty.
The interactive scorecard features embedded clips of Jerry’s calls from the biggest moments of the game — the bat flip, the catcher’s interference, the final strikeout to clinch the series. Sportsnet’s Ben Nicholson-Smith also sat down with the Blue Jays broadcasting legend and to get the full walkthrough of how Howarth scores a game.
