4 Footwear Trends You Need to Try This Summer
They say you can judge a man by his shoes. If that’s true, prepare to be found guilty of looking dapper as all hell when you’re sauntering down the street in these new summer staples.
Elevated Espadrilles

Normally reserved for trips to the beach, the espadrille has received a luxe upgrade. Finally, right? The defining jute rope sole is still there, but the typical cotton canvas uppers have been replaced with supple leather. These can go up against the driving shoe and the loafer for the right to be your go-to summer footwear. Plus, it feels like you’re on vacation whenever you wear them.
Strap In

Sandals can be tricky for men to pull off — you don’t want to look like you work at Abercrombie & Fitch. Play it safe by choosing one of these three leather styles: thick straps are substantial and won’t be mistaken for Tevas, understated slides give off a retro vibe, and leather flip-flops are a cut above typical rubber.

Just because it’s a boot, doesn’t mean it’s not meant for summer. The low cut chukka offers more structure and style than a desert boot and can easily take the place of a sneaker in your everyday wardrobe.

Congratulations on keeping your white sneakers clean for so long, but you won’t needing them anymore. Sneakers with coloured uppers and neutral bottoms are tops now. White soles are understated and versatile, whether they’re grounding crazier colours, or freshening up classic blacks and browns.
