Ken Griffey Jr. Dressed Like a King at His Hall of Fame Induction

Yesterday, Ken Griffey Jr. was inducted into the Baseball Hall of Fame. Over his 22 seasons in the big leagues, The Kid hit 630 home runs and drove in 1,836 runs en route to seven Silver Slugger Awards and 13 All-Star selections, in addition to 10 Gold Glove Awards for his work out in centre field. His popularity helped to revive Major League Baseball in the 1990s, the last true pop cultural icon to play America’s Pastime.

But, honestly, none of that really matters now.

Because yesterday, Junior strolled up to the podium at Cooperstown wearing one of the trillest ‘fits ever to grace this planet we call Earth, behind only Pierre Trudeau’s rose-lapelled seersucker suit, Henry the VIII’s no-holds-barred swag, and Cam’ron’s pink fur. He rocked his signature backwards cap up top, and a special pair of white-and-gold Nikes down low. But it was the small details on his suit that really took his look to interplanetary heights.

Yeah, bro. You’re not seeing things. My mans has “HALL OF FAME CLASS OF 2016” stitched in AS PINSTRIPES ON HIS SUIT, and his own “Swingman” logo embedded in the paisley of his tie. Straight up, take your paltry ass cuff initial embroidery and GTFO — Ken Griffey Jr. just took the entire custom clothing game and MY OH MY absolutely bodied it.

If you need me, I’ll be on this website, pressing that red button ad infinitum and thinking about this suit for the rest of the week.
