He’s the Fastest Man Alive, but Usain Bolt’s Mom Still Just Wants Grandkids Already

Go ahead, Usain. Run your races, win your medals, further cement your place as the fastest man the world has ever seen. Your mother will just sit here quietly, without any grandchildren to show her friends pictures of. It’s fine.

If you thought for a second that shattering world records and scooping up seven Olympic golds in the process would exempt you from getting nagged by your mom, you’re as wrong as Usain Bolt is fast.

In an interview with CNN’s Don Riddell, Usain’s mother, Jennifer Bolt, spoke about her hopes for her son’s future after he hangs up his Pumas. To the surprise of no one with a mother, Mrs. Bolt is desperate for the “triple-triple” winner to settle down, get married and start a family.

While Mrs. Bolt does mention crying with joy at all of her son’s accomplishments, we imagine that she’ll be just a hint happier when he finally gives her some grandbabies, already!
