Last night was the Toronto Raptors’ fourth annual “Drake Night,” the team’s yearly tribute to its most famous fan. Unfortunately, the home side coughed up a close game to the offensive hydra that is the Golden State Warriors, but that doesn’t mean the man of the hour went home empty-handed.
Much like they did last year, the Raps presented their Global Ambassador with a one-of-a-kind coat to mark the occasion. This time around, the team turned to Years — an upstart local label that crafts bespoke luxury sportswear — to fashion a cozy-as-hell parka worthy of Wheelchair Jimmy himself.
The modernized fishtail parka was crafted using an extremely rare Dormeuil cashmere-wool blend — the”filet mignon” of goat cashmere, according to Years, using only “long filament fibers from the neck of an Alashan goat” — and lined with vegan fur. To finish it off right, Years sewed in one of the Dinos’ new throwback Huskies jerseys along with Drake’s own “6 God” and “OVO” logos.
Pretty slick. It’ll be the perfect thing for Drizzy to huddle in and keep warm as he recovers from Kevin Durant’s choice words during the post-game.
