These Ultra-Rare Denim Jackets Are Your Ticket to Instant Street Cred

You know how sometimes you’ll be hanging around a cool neighbourhood — the kind with a lot of cafes serving unpronounceable espresso drinks and people in toques carrying vinyl records under their arms — and there’s always, like, one dude in particular that everyone in the vicinity seems to gravitate towards? He is the Hipster Sun, and they are his Hipster Planets.

We’re not saying you should want to be that dude, exactly, because let’s face it: he’s probably kind of a douche. But! We’ll go out on a limb and say that guy is likely wearing some really, really dope stuff that you would normally never know where to find. Stuff like, say, these incredibly beautiful Japanese patchwork denim jackets:

Created exclusively for Houston boutique The Class Room by NYC denim savants 3sixteen, only 20 of these were made and no two are exactly alike. That’s because these puppies were handcrafted by 3sixteen designer Wesley Scott, who laced his label’s already-great 12 oz. denim jackets with an array of gorgeous fabrics sourced from across Japan.

The result is the kind of extremely rare, extremely trill piece that will make guys like the Hipster Sun turn their heads and give you a nod of respect. Copping one of these jackets will be tough, but if you want to try your luck, they’re going live on The Class Room’s site tomorrow at noon EST and on 3sixteen’s site shortly thereafter.
