Canadian Designers Turned a Shuttered American Apparel Store Into a Killer Pop-Up

As we gear up for Canada 150th celebrations, a group of local designers have banded together in Toronto to open a pop-up shop selling Canadian-made clothing and accessories. In a fun and cheeky twist, they’ve taken over the recently closed American Apparel store at 499 Queen Street West and renamed it Canadian Apparel. The tweaked logo and signage is a smart and eye-catching rebranding of the space that really promotes the Can-con focus.

Conceived and executed by the creative minds behind ONEMETH Goods and FADED Lifestyle, their goods are on sale alongside other great homegrown brands, like Andrew Coimbra, The Feral, Krane, MuttonheadOutclass, Sid Neigum, Get Fresh Company, and c.h.s.e. The offering is menswear and streetwear heavy, but also has some great options for women and children added into the mix.
