Boss’ F/W 2018 Collection Gives Athleisure a Luxe Look
This week, at an uptown New York loft, Boss rolled out its Fall/Winter 2018 collection. This season, chief brand officer Ingo Wilts decided to take a bit of a left turn, combining Boss’ traditional tailored, corporate aesthetic with a New York-inspired athletic element. The result is what Wilts calls “sports tailoring,” and includes pieces like baseball jersey-influenced shirting, XL outerwear, stretch-nylon tailored jackets, long cashmere greatcoats in soft wool, and cropped padded trousers with drawstring waists. In other words, it’s comfortable-as-hell clothing you could wear to a meeting, but also crush your gym goals in if you really wanted to. Athleisure has never looked smarter.
