The Supreme x Lacoste SS18 Drop Has Lived Up to the Hype and the Mayhem

As we all know, Supreme’s latest collaboration with Lacoste dropped yesterday. And, as is customary, it was completely batshit.

If you were lucky enough to cop something… maybe don’t try reselling it right outside the store. A video has emerged of a Supreme reseller being arrested outside the London location after allegedly attempting to resell what he had just bought.

However, the chaos didn’t stop there. Online sellout times for the EU saw almost all items selling out in 10-to-20 seconds. The fastest-selling item? The green reflective grid nylon anorak in size small.

The Lacoste e-stores dropped the collab on their website today at 11 am, which is rare for brands collaborating with Supreme to do. (Actually pretty big news, as it means you’ve got an extra shot at copping these highly coveted pieces.)

This was the second collaboration between Supreme and Lacoste, the first being a gloriously tennis-inspired one in SS17. This year’s collection is an aggressive nod to the ’90s, merging Supreme’s skater vibe with Lacoste’s preppy touch. The 74-piece collection consists largely of varsity jackets, reflective anoraks, polos (obvy), fanny packs, baseball caps, bucket hats, and lots and lots of velour.

Your best bet of copping these pieces, at this point, is hitting up a reseller site. Godspeed and good luck.
