1. The Pope’s custom Lamborghini raised over $850,000 for charity
“Last November, Lamborghini gave Pope Francis a Huracán RWD customized in the white and gold colors of Vatican City. Unsurprisingly, Pope Francis announced it would be auctioned for charity, and that auction occurred this past week. The car rolled across the block of an RM Sotheby’s auction and brought in 715,000 euros, which at current exchange rates is about $857,000.”
2. A Panama Papers film may be in the works
“One of the hot packages coming together has Gary Oldman and Antonio Banderas circling The Laundromat, a Steven Soderbergh-directed drama about the Panama Papers scandal that has a script by Scott Z. Burns, based on the Jake Bernstein book Secrecy World: Inside the Panama Papers Investigation of Illicit Money Networks and the Global Elite. Sources said that Netflix is among those circling the project, which is produced by Burns, Lawrence Grey, Soderbergh and Michael Sugar.”
3. “Aubrey and the Three Amigos” are set to hit North American stages
“This morning Drake announced the awesomely named “Aubrey and the Three Amigos Tour” that will see him joined by Atlanta trio Migos for a 41-date, continent-spanning North American tour that will carry on for the better part of four months. (Drake’s real name is Aubrey Drake Graham.)”

5. 2019 BMW 8 Series will be unveiled before 24 Hours of Le Mans
“The long wait for the 2019 BMW 8 Series is very nearly over. BMW announced that the car will be unveiled on June 15, the day before the 24 Hours of Le Mans. The reason for this date is that this will be first Le Mans endurance race the company has participated in since 2011, and its entry is the 850 GTE race car that has preceded the road car. And on the topic of the road car, you can spot it behind the race car in the photo above. So you know what that means. It’s time to zoom and enhance!”
