Hamilton Celebrates Behind-the-Scenes Talent in Film

The 8th annual Hamilton Behind the Camera Awards took place this weekend, celebrating of the appearance of Hamilton watches in over 400 films.

Emceeing the event was Golden Globe and Emmy nominated actor Matthew Morrison who announced presenters like Channing Tatum, Steve Carell, Keirnan Shipka, Emily Blunt and Michelle Monaghan. Sylvain Dolla, CEO of Hamilton International Ltd. remarked, “Watchmaking and filmmaking are similar in that we both share a passion for creating something uniquely beautiful that inspires and touches our audience.”

The honorees were selected from movies released during the year and/or qualified and presented at the most recent prestigious movie festivals of Cannes, Toronto and Venice as well as at the Festival of the American Film Institute. The most recent appearance of a Hamilton watch was the Khaki Pilot Day Date on the wrist of Cooper (played by Matthew McConaughey) in Interstellar.
