Summer is criminally short, best to take full advantage of the few hot months any and every way you can. You’ve got your warm weather wardrobe on lock, but these accessories will ensure you’re set to make the most of all the season has to offer as soon as you step out of the house.

The Tote

Foregoing a coat and stepping out in shorts and a shirt is one of the best parts of summer, but where do you stick all your stuff without those extra layers? A tote has all the room you need for your day-to-day, and can pull double duty as a beach bag when you’re ready for sand and surf.

The Bicycle

Liberate yourself from gridlock. Whether you’re commuting to work or going for a casual cycle on the weekend, you’ve probably forgotten how fun a bicycle is (although, thankfully, you haven’t forgotten how to ride one). Unless you’re actually training for a road race or planning to work your way down a mountain, stick with a city bike, the more classic the better.

The Shoe

Flip flops can’t always be the go-to shoe for all your outdoor events. Loafers aren’t always the only go-to answer. A pair of leather sneakers can convey a bit of style while also making sure your feet stay comfortable throughout whatever event you’re forced to stand through.

The Watch

A heavy steel watch may not be the optimal accessory to have on during the hot summer months. A timepiece with a lightweight band that won’t get sticky with sweat will not only look better but it will feel better on your wrist. Fabric bands in darker shades still keep it looking good.

The Camera

Instagram is great and all, but sometimes a man should take a picture for himself, instead of social media approval. Disconnect and focus on capturing your surroundings on a camera that doesn’t also double as your phone. FOMO be damned.
