Robin Williams’ Best Offscreen Moments

Robin Williams was an icon that earned his place in the pantheon of comedic geniuses, even before his tragic passing. Whether dressed up in drag as an elderly nanny or as a man rediscovering how to fly, his movies were those that brought on the laughs and warmed hearts. His was a talent that was special, a rare gem that the world has only been able to experience a handful of times in others. And so, it should come as no surprise that Williams’ scene-stealing, larger-than-life personality would extend outside of the theatre and into his own personal life. Like the boy he played who refused to grow up, there has always been a fun and innocent spark to the way Williams dressed. More importantly, whether he was sporting a velvet suit or statement coat, they always seemed to work because they were an extension of his personality.

Here, we celebrate the late actor with some of the wildest, most spirited outfits he wore throughout his career.
