Sharp List: Herschel Supply Co. x Clarks Originals Desert Boots
In the 65 years since their debut, Clarks‘ iconic Desert Boots have been around the block: they’ve graced the feet of everyone from Bob Dylan to Paul Weller, spawned spin-offs and knock-offs galore, and been reinterpreted in every material, fabric, colour and pattern imaginable. And yet, somehow, they can still find new ways to surprise us.
Take, for instance, the British shoemaker’s latest collaboration with Vancouver’s own Herschel Supply Co. The suede upper is doused in an uncommonly beautiful shade of blue, contrasted by a full-grain tan leather tongue and bright red lace caps. Subtle changes, sure, but ones that completely elevate and refresh a standby favourite.
