1. Peyton Manning is taking these HGH accusations pretty seriously

The Washington Post details Manning’s secret investigation into the Al Jazeera documentary that alleged the star quarterback took human growth hormone while recovering from neck surgery.

According to the Post, Manning’s lawyers hired two men to confront the parents of the documentary’s key witness. The documentary, which also implicated baseball’s Ryan Zimmerman, has spurred investigations by MLB and the NFL.

2. The French rejection

French social media is up in arms after proposed language changes are set to take effect. The new changes, first proposed by the Academie Francaise in 1990, will change the spelling of 2,000 words and eliminate the accent circumflex – you know, the little hat one.

According to the BBC, the proposed changes come after a review of the French language in order to simplify learning. Previously the changes had been optional, but all new textbooks will abide by the rules starting this year.

It’s evidence in the case that videogames have started showing a strong influence on cinematography beyond goofier incarnations such as CGI, tie-ins, or critically derided adaptations.”

4. Age before beauty
