This Old Lady Celebrated a Flyers Hat Trick by Throwing Her Leopard-Print Bra on the Ice

The NHL is home to a handful of truly weird traditions.

There are playoff beards, of course, and the superstitious refusal to touch either of the conference championship trophies. And then there’s the multitude of random stuff that gets thrown on the ice: octopuses in Detroit; plastic rats in Florida; hats after hat tricks everywhere else.

Now, thanks to an elderly lady in Philadelphia, we can add one more oddity to the list: leopard print bras.

Definitely not something you see everyday — or would really want to, for that matter — but it’ll give Schenn a little something extra to remember when he looks back on this milestone.
