This Lightweight, Rustproof Cruiser Bike Was Built for Life on the Beach
Here’s a novel idea: a beach cruiser that’s actually built for, you know, the beach. That’s exactly what the NYC-based innovators at Priority Bicycles have devised with their new Coast model, which is being billed as the “first weatherproof, rustproof, grease-free, belt driven, smooth-riding beach bicycle.”
The specially-engineered bike features an aluminum frame with stainless steel components that are resistant to rust and light as a feather, and uses a combination of sealed cartridge bearings and a chain-free Gates Carbon Drive to keep the ride incredibly smooth and comfortable on sand and pavement alike.
