HBO knows you’ve been waiting for your favourite late-night talk show Last Week Tonight to be back from hiatus. Or rather, they know you’ve been waiting for a handful of other, better shows to come back and they’re placating you with this one.
A hilarious new ad is toting the return of John Oliver, while simultaneously letting him know that he’s not even close to their most anticipated fare. That honour belongs to Game of Thrones, Silicon Valley, and, holy shit — Larry David! SO excited to see hi…oh, right. Hi, sorry, John.
