“Don’t believe everything you see and hear in an internet video.

That’s the message from Jordan Peele and BuzzFeed, who teamed up for a public-service video announcement that puts Peele’s words into the mouth of former President Barack Obama.”

2. Cardi B. and Bernie Sanders — name a more iconic duo

“In a recent GQ profile with Caity Weaver, Cardi B expressed her admiration for President Franklin Delano Roosevelt. “First of all,” she said, “he helped us get over the Depression, all while he was in a wheelchair. Like, this man was suffering from polio at the time of his presidency, and yet all he was worried about was trying to make America great—make America great again for real. He’s the real ‘Make America Great Again,’ because if it wasn’t for him, old people wouldn’t even get Social Security.”

Who agrees with her? Vermont Senator Bernie Sanders. “Cardi B is right,” he tweeted this morning. “If we are really going to make America great we need to strengthen Social Security so that seniors are able to retire with the dignity they deserve.””

3. Shkreli gets his comeuppance

“Fraudster Martin Shkreli will serve his seven year term at a federal prison in New Jersey instead of the minimum security camp he’d been hoping for. His new home is in the U.S. military base at Fort Dix, which he’ll share with 3,945 other inmates.”

4. Golf carts are more expensive than Porsches in this part of Hong Kong

“Forget Teslas and Porsches! There’s a new hot ride in Hong Kong that’s more expensive than luxury cars: golf carts!

Want one? It’ll cost you more than a quarter million dollars.”

5. BMW does it again

“The 2019 M2 Competition builds on the previous M2 Coupe, with subtle styling updates and bigger changes under the sheet metal. The twin-turbo inline-six from the M3 and M4 now sits in the engine bay, good for 405 horsepower and 406 lbs-ft of torque.”
