Louis Vuitton’s ‘Time Capsule’ Exhibition Is Our Kind of Trunk Show

Louis Vuitton has long been synonymous with travel. This month, the French luxury house brings a travelling exhibition to a transport hub familiar to many Toronto travellers: the recently refreshed Union Station. “Time Capsule” traces the brand’s history, from its beginning as a humble trunk-maker founded in 1854 to the present, using a stunning collection of rarely seen objects from the brand’s archives: exotic and limited-edition trunks, vintage bags and accessories, and mesmerizing one-off collaboration pieces you might think twice about stuffing into an overhead compartment. The exhibition runs from September 7 through September 30. And it’s well worth travelling for.
