BOSS Channels West Coast Coolness in Its Spring/Summer 2019 Collection
Sure, it feels a lot like fall outside, but we’ve already got our sights set on next summer. You can thank BOSS for that. Over the weekend, the brand debuted its Spring/Summer 2019 collection at New York’s Basketball City at Pier 36. Dubbed “California Breeze,” the pieces were inspired by the relaxed, summery vibe of the West Coast, and feature cool and airy colours like blush pink, bright white, and burgundy. And of course, because it’s BOSS, everything is tailored, elegant, and, well, sharp.
The suit played a central role in this lineup, but BOSS has loosened up the look with softened structures and airy fabrics. Tailored jackets are crafted from crinkled cotton and paper-touch cloth, while lightweight nylon coats have a refreshingly crisp texture. Rounding out the looks are wide-brim hats and coloured sunglasses. You’ll definitely be needing those — summer may have just ended, but if this BOSS collection is any indication, the future’s looking bright.
