HUGO BOSS Is About to Make Porsche the Most Stylish Team in Formula E Racing

Last year, the Fédération Internationale de l’Automobile (FIA) accepted Porsche’s application as a Formula E manufacturer, signifying the automaker’s entry into the electric racing circuit. And it turns out the Stuttgart-based manufacturer wants to mark the occasion with some equally electrifying duds. Porsche announced it is bringing on HUGO BOSS to outfit its Formula E racing team, and serve as the official outfitter to its entire motorsports team worldwide.

The union makes sense — beyond the two companies being German power brands. BOSS already boasts a long history of motorsports partnership, and has served as an official partner to the electric-powered racing series since 2017. Beginning in December of this year, the start of the next championship season, BOSS will be providing clothing for Porsche’s entire race team, from the track to the workshop.

Fans can also get in on the action, as a Porsche x BOSS capsule collection is on its way, boasting premium leather and wool materials in colours repping both brands: silver, black, and red. Look for the line to debut this March online and at BOSS stores.

“HUGO BOSS and Porsche are both synonymous with outstanding innovation and consummate quality,” said Mark Langer, CEO of HUGO BOSS AG. “We have been working successfully with motorsports over recent years and decades. That is why, with the future-oriented Formula E, I am especially pleased that we are taking our cooperation to a new level.”

Formula E is ready for its glow-up.
