Adrien Brody Is the Face of Monos Aluminum Travel Collection

Adrien Brody has been around the block. After bouncing from Budapest to Tuscany for The Brutalist, Brody hopped across the pond in time to receive a second “Best Actor” trophy at the 2025 Academy Awards in Los Angeles. With the Vancouver-based travel brand Monos, Brody took to the skies once more. Landing in Tangier, Morocco, Brody and Monos shot the marque’s first celebrity campaign: meet the Monos Aluminum Collection.

“Growing up in New York — a city full of diversity and unexpected encounters — ignited a thirst for adventure,” says the 51-year-old actor. “I often find myself on location in different places while working on films, which is exciting; I love to explore, to travel, to get lost and find my way.”

For Monos, Brody is the ideal partner. His enthusiasm for adventure pairs perfectly with the new Aluminum Collection. Each suitcase sports an anodized aluminum shell; with time and travel, these polished trunks paint a nuanced tapestry, developing a patina that’s unique to each traveller. Meanwhile, the sleek and sturdy design mirrors the futuristic aesthetic of aviation.

“Travel leaves its mark on us, and there’s something beautiful and romantic about carrying traces of your journey on your suitcase — each mark tells a part of your personal story,” says Hubert Chan, co-founder of Monos. Citing subtle design choices, from intricate etching on hinges and latches to soft-release side handles, Chan adds: “It’s the small things that elevate the entire travel experience.”

This idea — appreciating the details — extends to Monos’ campaign, too. Filmmaker and photographer Alexis Gomez captures a careful balance between solitude and connection, exploring chance encounters and serendipitous stumble-upons. “Travelling reminds me that borders are irrelevant,” Brody adds. “No matter how different cultures or people may seem, we’re all just people living our unique stories.”

Noting these shared values, Monos believes that Brody embodies the spirit of its Aluminum Collection. As co-founder Victor Tam explains, “[Brody’s] unique perspective and undeniable charm make him the ideal ambassador for our brand.” Tam also praises Brody’s influence and connection with his audience, adding that Monos seeks to build a community through timeless, high-quality collections.

Offered in four styles, including a carry-on, two check-in sizes, and a trunk, Chan calls the Monos Aluminum Collection “our most premium offering to date.” Accordingly, options consist of three chic colourways: Caviar Black, Champagne Gold, and Aspen Silver. Luggage comes fully equipped with TSA-accepted combination locks and 360-degree spinning wheels, while the interior is lined with solid black quilted taffeta.
