Meet the Maserati Fuoriserie Programme: Auto-Personalization, À La Carte
Maserati x SHARP
In the automobile’s earliest days, all cars were created exclusively by and for their owners. But now, over 100 years later, Maserati is one of the very few brands still at it, keeping this proud tradition of bespoke craftsmanship alive with its exclusive Fuoriserie Programme.
The Fuoriserie Programme — a true privilege of Maserati ownership — finds its perfect canvas in the 2025 Maserati Grecale, a luxury SUV where Italian design meets limitless personalization. The Grecale comes with three distinct trims — Grecale, Modena, and Trofeo. As ever, the Trofeo is the most extreme expression; with a 523 horsepower V6 Nettuno engine derived from the one found in Maserati’s groundbreaking MC20 supercar. If that’s not for you, there’s also a fully electric version, the Grecale Folgore. The choice is yours.

“This approach reflects our dedication to the consumer, to meet and exceed their expectations, ensuring that each of our models epitomizes the excellence of Italian luxury,” explained Santo Ficili, Maserati’s chief executive officer.
The level of personalization on the Grecale goes as deep as the customer desires. For 2025, Maserati’s designers have renewed the colour palette with as many as 11 hues. Go deeper and clients can dive into an extended range of curated colours from Fuoriserie Programme, including Grigio Lamiera and Digital Aurora, matte colours, as well as the new Dark Aurora Boreale and Gold Venus. The latter hues both look as deep and mesmerizing as crystalline ocean waves thanks to a labour-intensive three- and four-layer painting process.
In the cabin, drivers will find buttery soft leather in single and two-tone colourways, with and without contrasting stitching, tactile wood veneer, copper-woven carbon fibre, and so much more. It’s enough to make your decorator jealous.

Only the best materials will do. That’s as true of the fabric and paint as it is of the stereo system. Maserati tapped Italian audio powerhouse Sonus Faber to create the Grecale’s premium hi-fi options. We could try to describe the award-winning system’s rich, airy, transparent sound but it’s really just better if you hear it for yourself.
Like an haute-couture fashion house, Maserati’s design team curates seasonal collections for the Grecale. The new collection, for example, features vibrant Orange Devil bodywork paired with black brake calipers and a two-tone ice/black leather interior. (Global trend forecasting authority WGSN recently selected a similar orange hue as one of the key colours for Spring 2027, so clearly Maserati is well ahead of the curve on this one, as expected.)
“Fuoriserie means ‘out of the ordinary’ in Italian, and it’s the name of a customization program conceived to create extraordinary experiences.”
Klaus Busse, head of design at Maserati.
With more than 2,000 colour and trim combinations on offer as standard, and nearly infinite possibilities available through the madeto- measure Fuoriserie Programme, the Grecale offers trendsetting buyers total freedom to express themselves.
So much personalization doesn’t need to be complex though, not at all. Maserati’s designers have curated two unique collections that serve as jumping-off points — or indeed end points — for clients. The Corse curation is dedicated to lovers of timeless style and those faithful to the Maserati narrative, while the Futura curation is dedicated to futurists, lovers of technology and new materials.

As an example of what’s possible through the Fuoriserie Programme, Maserati recently unveiled a one-off Grecale designed in collaboration with renowned high-end Italian luxury furniture brand Giorgetti. Crafted at the new Officine Fuoriserie in Modena, this one-off features a custom Gleaming Dusk paint job, denim-coloured leather interior, and seats trimmed in Giorgetti’s woolly four-thread fabric (denim, white mélange, black, and copper). This stunning one-of-one creation is entirely irreplicable and cannot be purchased by customers.
“Fuoriserie means ‘out of the ordinary’ in Italian,” said Maserati’s legendary design boss Klaus Busse, “and it’s the name of a customization program conceived to create extraordinary experiences and masterpieces.”
If you missed the Maserati Giorgetti Edition at Milan Design Week, fear not, because your own bespoke Grecale is as close as your local Maserati boutique.
