This Hamilton Collab Changed the Game — By Becoming a Part of It

With more than 500 film credits from the 1950s through to today — from 2001: A Space Odyssey to Christopher Nolan’s Tenet — Hamilton is no stranger to designing watches for the big screen. Last year (2021), however, marks the watchmaker’s debut in a new medium: video games. For Far Cry 6, the latest instalment in Ubisoft’s popular first-person shooter series, Hamilton and the game’s developers created a watch that plays an important role in the game’s plot.

The result is the Khaki Field Titanium Far Cry® 6 Limited Edition, a new version of Hamilton’s bestselling field watch with details inspired by Far Cry’s world of guerrilla warfare. Featuring a 42 mm titanium case, the new watch takes the template of the original Khaki Field and customizes it with a stylized “6” (a call-out to the game’s logo) and red seconds hand. Limited to just 1,983 pieces, it comes with two leather straps, a strap-changing tool, and a leather carrying case.

To get your hands on the watch in-game, you’ll need to complete a dangerous mission — one of many required to depose evil dictator President Antón Castillo — but fortunately, all you need to get one IRL is $1,460.
