Watch the Creepy New Teaser for ‘Game of Thrones’ Season 6
April can’t get here fast enough. Earlier tonight, HBO dropped a minute-long teaser for the sixth season of Game of Thrones, and it’s every bit as infuriatingly cryptic and appetite-whetting as you’d expect:
Set in the House of Black and White — home to the Faceless Men and a currently blind Arya Stark — the camera slithers along a wall covered in the faces of dead characters both beloved (Robb Stark, Jon Snow) and hated (Joffrey, duh). But it’s the final shot of the trailer that truly chills you to the bone: the faces of Tyrion, Daenerys, Sansa and Arya are all embedded in the wall as well.
What does it all mean? Are those four going to die this season, too? Is the show going to just keep killing everyone off until it becomes a sitcom about Hodor and his ball-less buddy Theon? There’s only one way to find out for sure, and that requires tuning in on April 24th when Game of Thrones finally returns.
