Mark McEwan: Serial Entrepreneur

Chef Mark McEwan began his career as executive chef at Toronto’s upscale Sutton Place Hotel – the first stop in what has become a storied and remarkable journey. Over the years, he’s pushed dining innovation with the launch of destinations like Bymark, Fabbrica, Diwan, North 44 and others. His McEwan Catering set a new standard for Toronto’s culinary scene. He’s run retail operations, written bestselling cookbooks and served as head judge on Food Network’s hit series Top Chef. We wanted to know what drives this serial entrepreneur – and what he thinks have been the most important ingredients in his success.
