Walker McKinley: Causing a Disruption
Walker McKinley is Principal Architect and Founder of Vancouver-based McKinley Studios. The studio’s ethos – Design Through Disruption – reflects a commitment to radical thinking and innovative design. That they view design as a cultural and artistic act is evident in McKinley’s six-studio approach, a model that leverages a diverse team to realize every project’s full potential. Each studio – themed around Architecture, Interior Design, Procurement, Branding, Art, and Strategy – contributes to a contextual, research-driven and experiential focus that goes beyond the boundaries of conventional design. The Studio’s pursuit of knowledge culminates in its specialized thought-leadership and research division, Black Chamber.

On Thursday, in Florence, @soshiotsuki, recent LVMH Prize winner presented their A/W 2026 Collection titled “In Florence” at @pittiuomo_official. Designer Otsuki who was a guest designer for Pitti Uomo hails inspiration from Giorgio Armani-style tailoring worn by Japanese salary men in the ‘90s and ‘00s, with soft, yet well-defined silhouettes, that exuded an innate, comfortable luxuriousness.
