Walker McKinley is Principal Architect and Founder of Vancouver-based McKinley Studios. The studio’s ethos – Design Through Disruption – reflects a commitment to radical thinking and innovative design. That they view design as a cultural and artistic act is evident in McKinley’s six-studio approach, a model that leverages a diverse team to realize every project’s full potential. Each studio – themed around Architecture, Interior Design, Procurement, Branding, Art, and Strategy – contributes to a contextual, research-driven and experiential focus that goes beyond the boundaries of conventional design.
