It’s OK — really, it is. We know you’ve been hurt before. You dropped a pretty penny on a shiny new bicycle a few summers ago, and a few weeks later it was stolen right off your block. You vowed you’d never love a bike again, and have spent the ensuing years riding around on rusty Craigslist beaters with mismatched parts. But it’s time to open your heart again, because this tip-top two-wheeler is calling your name.
A collaboration between Carhartt WIP, Pelago Bicycles, and Mission Workshop, the sustainably-built, single-speed porteur bicycle is based on a vintage frame silhouette and comes decked out in a charming toolbox green. The three partners also designed an accompanying range of cycle-ready clothes and accessories, the highlight of which is a spacious bespoke bag that fixes to the front rack.
The entire collection drops on August 11th, which gives you ample time to overcome whatever lingering sorrows you have left, and, you know, invest in a really damn good bike lock.
