5 Fictional Restaurants We’d Love to Dine At

Earlier today, to promote its upcoming Gilmore Girls revival (Literati Forever, y’all), Netflix rolled out a whole whack of pop-up cafés inspired by Luke’s Diner — the local greasy spoon where the Gilmores guzzle obnoxious amounts of coffee and speak at obnoxiously high speeds.

If the two-hour wait at the location around the corner from Sharp’s office is any indication, people are flat-out desperate to nosh at the establishments their favourite fictional characters frequent. That in mind, we decided to cull a list of the pop cultural eateries we’re most eager to try. Bon appétit, fam.

Ratatouille — La Ratatouille

Meals prepared by an adorable rat? Not even Gordon Ramsay could get mad! JK, of course he could.

Grease — The Frosty Palace

Assuming that the prices have stayed the same, of course. Ten cents for an eskimo pie is a very good deal.

Hook — The Imaginary Feast

No lines, reservations or even a wait while your meal is made. Just use your imagination and those bowls of…colourful…mashed…goo will appear.

American Psycho — Dorsia

Jean isn’t the only one who wants to go. Just because we wish this popular place was real doesn’t mean we’d get a goddamn reservation.

The Blues Brothers — Soul Food Café

The best fried chicken in town AND the occasional performance by Aretha Franklin? We’d think about it for sure.
