Scenes From the Launch of the New Range Rover Velar in Association with Sharp
Elegance. Modernity. Grandeur. Those three words best describe Wednesday night’s event, which saw Sharp help launch the new Range Rover Velar. They’re also synonymous with the SUV itself.
Over 1,000 of Toronto’s VVIPs filled a surprising and inspiring event space to celebrate this revolutionary new addition to the Range Rover family. Popular Canadian TV personality Rick Campanelli MC’ed the evening, while Jaguar Land Rover Canada president Wolfgang Hoffmann was on hand to uncloak the Velar. Offering dimensions of glamour, refinement, and all-terrain capability never before seen in a mid-size SUV, the automobile had attendees hankering to get a closer look.
Guests were also given the opportunity to witness the unveiling of Jaguar’s E-PACE, a roaring new compact SUV with head-turning good looks.
Also on display were some Jaguars and Range Rovers you could wear. Bandiera Jewelers presented an array of Zenith timepieces featuring a newly-released special edition of the Range Rover Velar El Primero and the classic Range Rover El Primero chronograph watches. Meanwhile, L’Oro Jewellers showcased Bremont’s striking range of Jaguar watches.
Elsewhere, Area 27 let people live out their F1 fantasies via the Panasonic Jaguar Racing Formula E simulation. And, of course, issues of the new Sharp: The Book for Men and S/Volume were in bountiful supply, both as exit gifts and valet seat drops.
As well, the Food Dudes were on site to keep guests’ bellies as satiated as their eyes were.
