#NoFilter. Next-level phone photography is almost as easy as using Clarendon. We prefer adjusting levels, brightness, and contrast with simple-yet-freakishly-powerful apps like VSCO and Snapseed, which go far further than any prebuilt filter. Having a good camera — especially one that excels in low light — certainly doesn’t hurt either, which is yet another reason to treat yourself to that shiny iPhone X. The Pixel XL’s no slouch, either.
