Buy Aston Martin’s 715-Horsepower TAG Heuer DBS Superleggera, and They’ll Throw In a Free Watch

The Venn diagram between car enthusiasts and watch afficionados likely has a liiittle bit of overlap. Ever the observant ones, it seems TAG Heuer and Aston Martin are privy to this curious phenomenon of consumer behaviour. The luxury Swiss watch company and British automaker have just unveiled a red-hot collab: a 715-horsepower supercar. Er… super-watch-car?

Limited to just 50 units, the Aston Martin DBS Superleggera TAG Heuer Edition is equipped with Aston’s 5.2-litre twin-turbo V12 good for 664 pount-feet of torque and a top speed of 340 km/h. The TAG Heuer Edition boasts a murdered-out exterior with red accents, a satin-black-tinted carbon-fibre roof, 21-inch wheels, and TAG Heuer badges on the fenders.

The interior featues Alcantara-lined black leather seats, which also get some red contrasting by way of stitching and bespoke TAG Heuer quilting. The cockpit comes with plenty of carbon-fiber and dark-chrome accents. Each unit will be personally inspected by Andy Palmer, Aston Martin’s CEO, before leaving the factory.

Purchase this car — for a princely $389,000 USD — and they’ll even toss in a limited-edition TAG Heuer DBS Edition Carrera Heuer 02 watch, featuring design elements echoing the DBS and a matching colour scheme.

A car and a watch! Bloody brilliant. Best crossover promotion since Pac-Man Pasta.
