Puma Golf’s New Maple Leaf Collection Launches Just Ahead of Canada Day

There’s no denying that the popularity of golf in Canada has seen an upswing of late, especially as the socially distant sport was was far easier to partake in through the throws of the pandemic. With over 2,500 courses and practice ranges in the country, and an estimated six million golfers from coast to coast, it’s been argued by many that golf is actually more popular in Canada than hockey in some respects. Puma Golf is well aware of our nation’s obsession with teeing off, and it has just unveiled a new collection specifically targeting our market.

The Puma Golf Maple Leaf Collection embraces Canadian pride, with a tasteful maple leaf motif and a hefty dose of red and white. The tee, polo, and crewneck shirts are all crafted of Puma’s moisture-wicking CLOUDSPUN fabric — the proprietary ultra-soft four-way stretch performance fabric found across much of the brand’s offering these days. The four hats on offer are classic one-size-fits-all snapbacks, offered in white or black, with or without the maple leaf print.

Footwear fans need not be disappointed, as the single pair in the offering is the brand’s most playful variant of golf shoes out there right now. The IGNITE Articulate Maple spiked golf shoe also displays the maple leaf prints on its saddle, over a white silhouette. This is all contrasted by a vibrant red lining, and a midsole that transitions from white to red across the length of the shoe. A new Articulation Geometry outsole and IGNITE foam cushioning provides the necessary flexibility and comfort for a day on the course, whereas its eight-cleat traction pattern ensures you’ll always get the grip you need. The collection just went online at the beginning of the week, and is also available through brick and mortar retailers across the country.
