Behind a spectacular facade of 32,000 glass bricks, inspired by the concept of “diamonds in the rough” and designed by Tokyo’s SANAA architects, Canada’s latest Tiffany & Co. flagship store opened its doors in Toronto’s Yorkdale Shopping Centre. A star-studded affair drew out celebrities, athletes, and a host of luxury VIPs for a first look at the sprawling showroom. The new location reintroduces Tiffany & Co. to Canada, and showcases the house’s latest design concept: a destination of elevation and luxury, featuring its exceptional high jewellery creations and diamond designs.
Thoughtfully curated to enhance the customer’s shopping experience, the boutique houses Icons collections such as Tiffany HardWear and Tiffany Lock, alongside high jewellery pieces, homewares, and fine watches. From artisan-crafted plaster walls enhanced with gilded accents by Fresco to natural selenite stone and bespoke carpets by Edward Fields — contemporary savoir-faire design elements bring depth and texture to the environment.

The renowned Jean Schlumberger collection is displayed in a dedicated gallery, taking interior design inspiration from Tiffany & Co.’s 5th Avenue flagship in Manhattan, specifically its ultra-exclusive 10th floor. Illuminated showcases crafted from precious mica stone bring attention to the intricate details of Schlumberger’s designs under the celestial glow of a custom-designed “Apollo” chandelier, made exclusively for Tiffany & Co.
As an exceptional finishing touch, the store also displays an impressively curated art collection, including works by Damien Hirst, Vik Muniz, and Sho Shibuya. These collaborative works — like Hirst’s “Tiffany Incredible” Butterfly painting — intertwine the worlds of fine art and jewellery, engaging with modern artistry in new and inspiring ways.
