Tom Ramshaw knows it better than most: life’s no fun through clear waters.
After skippering his first boat at age 5, racing at the Olympic Games in Rio, and, just last June, competing in the Canada Sail Grand Prix off the coast of Halifax, Ramshaw has spent a lifetime on the water.
Years at sea yield virtues like instinct and adaptability. That’s what it takes to compete at the top. Yet the Toronto-born sailor, now 34, says it was never about the trophies. “I just want to enjoy the experience of competing for Canada on the biggest stage in the sport,” he says. His real hope? Watching “the next generation of young Canadians doing it even bigger and better than my generation.”
Beyond the Surface. Josh Hartnett has spent two decades quietly becoming one of the most interesting actors working today. This fall, it all comes together—with Verity in theatres and Below premiering at TIFF before landing on Netflix in October, his most immersive performance yet.
In our September Film Issue, he talks craft, complexity, and why the roles worth taking are always the ones that keep you off balance. Read the full story at link in bio.

Louis Vuitton has never done this before. In an unprecedented collaboration with Singer, the California atelier known for reimagining classic Porsche 911s, the House has created two fully bespoke cars—its first-ever co-branded automotive project.
The Classic arrives in LV’s saffron, cobalt blue and yellow, built for the open road, with matching capsule pieces down to the driving gloves. The Classic Turbo, developed under Artistic Director Nicolas Ghesquière, takes a different route entirely: ivory white paint, walnut wood trim, and an interior built like a classic motorboat.
It all began with a single dashboard clock. It became a full reimagining of two cars, inside and out.

Jake Johnson didn’t want The Dink to be complicated, he wanted it to feel like yacht rock. Easy, fun, and completely unpretentious. After a stretch behind the camera writing and directing his own film, this was the project that reminded him why he loves acting, even if co-star Ben Stiller kept ruining his takes by making him laugh.
The comedy follows a former tennis prodigy forced to learn pickleball to win his hyper-demanding father’s approval—the kind of mid-budget, feel-good movie Johnson says Hollywood doesn’t make enough of anymore.
The Dink is streaming now on Apple TV+.

Fashion has found its next storytelling medium—and Brunello Cucinelli is the latest to star in it. Brunello: The Gracious Visionary blends archival footage and personal memory to explore the philosophy behind one of fashion’s most respected names, directed by Oscar-winning filmmaker Giuseppe Tornatore.
It’s part of a bigger shift in the industry: brands are leaning into film not to sell, but to humanize—trading product campaigns for something closer to cinema.
