Aaron Sanchez’s Face Says Everything You Need to Know About the New Jays Uniforms

The Blue Jays unveiled a new alternate jersey this morning, and no, it is not good. Presumably we will be seeing these babies every Sunday home game, which, no, is not good.

Here is Aaron Sanchez modelling the alternates. His face says it all.

“Not great, Bob! Not great!”

He looks like the human equivalent of the grimace emoji.

Of course, these are not the first red alternates the Blue Jays have worn. Here is last year’s Canada Day jersey, which, with its white piping and actual, full-colour logo, was, you know, pretty bearable. They wore it a couple of times, and that was that. But to rep these every Sunday home game, plus god knows when else, just seems really regrettable.

Oh well, it’s baseball at least. Only 24 days until pitchers and catchers report!
