Bremont’s Newest Dive Watches Are a Slim, Striking Tribute to British Aviation

Bremont is set to expand their Supermarine family with a pair of arresting new additions they’re dubbing the Type 300 range.

Both Type 300 models — the yet-to-be-released S300 and S301 — are smaller and slimmer than other professional dive watches of their ilk. Where past Supermarine watches have clocked in around 43-45mm, both Type 300 timepieces feature a 40mm case that’s only 13mm thick, while remaining water resistant up to 300m.

The collection takes its name from the 1930s aircraft company Supermarine, whose first Spitfire prototype, the Type 300, led to one of Britain’s most iconic aircraft. Powered by Bremont’s BE-92AE automatic movement, both models’ case backs are engraved with a portrait of an early Supermarine plane.

The Type 300 range will be available this spring.
