Many no longer retain your personal information and have reputable suppliers. “It’s honestly as safe as you can expect from something that has no official oversight, testing, and quality control,” says Alan Gertner, the ex-Google employee behind Toronto’s Tokyo Smoke, a startup dedicated to elevating the weed-smoking experience. “If I’m going to a reputable dispensary, I feel safe and lucky to have the chance to buy some incredible products. We’re looking forward to the time when it’s legal so that this question isn’t even a question.”
