Chopard’s Time Traveler One Toronto Edition Is Most Elegant Way to Rep the 6ix

You think that “Toronto vs. Everybody” shirt is the best way of exhibiting your civic pride? Allow us, if we may, to one-up you. Luxury Swiss manufacturer Chopard has launched the first world-time watch in its new L.U.C Collection, the Time Traveler One Toronto Edition. The limited edition timepiece can track every time zone on the planet, so you’ll know exactly when the Raptors game starts no matter where you are.

The watch’s face features concentric layers — a central hand indicates the data, while a railway track around the edge displays the hours and minutes of the local time zone. The elegant, stainless-steel design of the watch boasts a sunburst grey-blue dial and a black-transferred marking with a silver-toned background on the hour disc. One further step outwards, a large 24-hour graduated ring works in conjunction with the disc, bearing the reference cities symbolizing the 24 main time zones. The city of Toronto stands out with a red transfer, allowing jet-setters from the 6ix to check the time in their home city at a glance.

Referencing the six boroughs — Etobicoke, North York, Scarborough, York, East York and Toronto — that amalgamated into one city in 1998, the watch is limited to just six pieces, each numbered on the back.

This loving tribute is an excellent way to rep the Tee-dot-O everywhere you go.
