Favourite neighbourhood in the city and why?
Oh, that’s such a hard question. I’ve explored this city a lot, but I’m going to have to say there’s something about the Junction that’s just really been captivating me recently. It’s almost as if I get to see Toronto in a new light.
Nature walk or pounding the pavement?
If you had asked me this prior to this year I would’ve 100% said pound the pavement, but this year I really grew to love and appreciate my walks around nature. I don’t know if age has anything to do with it but I am really enjoying the quiet that comes with nature these days!
Any go-to spots for a bite and a coffee?
Hands down Cafe 23, located right in the heart of Queen West. It was a spot introduced by a couple of friends of mine and truthfully aside from the amazing coffee and food, there is something so familial about that shop. From the owner to the baristas, you just walk in and you instantly feel at home.
Best parks in the city for a stroll?
Oh, that’s easy: the classic, hip, artsy park, also known as Trinity Bellwoods.
